Decision Accuracy

Knowledge & mathematics for "decision making" and "decision accuracy" to calculate vote accuracy and error, election accuracy factors, or law and court jury decision accuracy.

Illustration 1 of the definition of accuracy: Accuracy is 100% minus error, where error is the distancIllustration 2. Definition of accuracy: Accuracy is 100% minus error, where error is the distance in percent of a result from the target.e in percent of a result from the target

Definition of accuracy: Accuracy is 100% minus error, where error is the distance in percent of a result from the target.  Jamil Kazoun, the book "A Mathematical Foundation For Politics And Law", 2021.

Target = 100% accuracy

Basic Accuracy Equation representation level 2.

Accuracy = u - MOE

Illustration 3. Definition of accuracy: Accuracy is 100% minus error, where error is the distance in percent of a result from the target.

Vote Accuracy = u - MOE

Illustration 4. Definition of accuracy: Accuracy is 100% minus error, where error is the distance in percent of a result from the target.

Vote Accuracy is the distance between a vote and its associated random vote

Accuracy Equation representation level 3.

Vote Accuracy = V~ - R~ = u - MOE(of V~ and R~ combined)

Definition of accuracy: Accuracy is 100% minus error, where error is the distance in percent of a result from the target.

Definition of accuracy: Accuracy is the distance in percent of a result from the random result.

Definition of Vote accuracy: A vote is a group decision. Vote Accuracy is the distance in percent of the vote result from the random vote result.

Definition of Decision accuracy: Decision Accuracy is the distance in percent of a decision result from the random decision result.

Historic News!

For the first time in recorded history of man, mathematical formulas have been developed to measure the accuracy and error in a vote, in a group decision.

Humans have lived for thousands of years making decisions, big and small decisions, that dominate their life in politics, law, economics and culture, without ever measuring these voting decisions' mathematical accuracy and error. Specific formulas for this did not exist. Now, these formulas exist! A congress, or parliament, or senate, or court, or Supreme Court, or jury, or corporate board, or election commission, etc. have no excuse any longer for making or allowing votes that are not measured mathematically for accuracy and error. A wrong decision or law by a country, a state, or city, can cause billions in harm, or billions in missed opportunity. A wrong court ruling can cause a person mistakenly his life, or his assets, or his freedom. A corporate board decision can be far bellow its potential. How can you wait on a consultation? You love your country, your state or province, your city, your company, justice, accuracy, etc. Move them from the stone age to the scientific age in the fields of politics, law, and economics. Try the many calculators on this website to measure your country's most recent general election of a president or congressman or governor or mayor, or your Supreme Court's latest ruling vote, or the congress or parliament's latest created law. For professors in law, political science, statistics, or lawyers and politicians, these easy-to-use calculators are a great resource.

While people in general have historically focused on ballot accuracy, vote counting, and vote by mail fraud in elections, these issues are almost completely trivial regarding election accuracy or vote accuracy compared to the size of the error from the vote percentages. So trivial is the discussion that it is like having a person hemorrhaging and the public and news companies are discussing if a green ambulance should be used instead of a blue ambulance to get him to the emergency room, when the decision is a life and death decision for that person. Read on and use one of the calculators here to understand the true magnitude of the problem.

How about calculating the accuracy of a vote using our Vote Accuracy calculator? Try to calculate the accuracy of these votes:

The vote accuracy of a president elected to office by a vote of 306 "yes" against 232 "no" in the Electoral College.

The vote accuracy of a president elected to office by a 81,268,773 "yes" voters against 74,216,728 "no" voters in the popular vote.

The vote accuracy of a Supreme Court ruling by 8 "yes" voters to 1 "no" voters.

The vote accuracy of a law adopted by a congress or a senate or a parliament by 250 to 200.

The vote accuracy of The Simple Majority Voting System of 50% "yes" + 1  voters against 50% "yes" - 1 "no" voters.

The vote accuracy of The 2/3 Majority Voting System of 67% "yes"  voters against 33% "no" voters.

A U.S.A. Senate Vote of 88 'yes' to 12 'no' Accuracy

A U.S.A. Senate Vote of 88 'yes' to 12 'no' Accuracy

Graph Above Note:

Red and Green Divisions are the Standard Error deviations of the Normal Distributions. Green would be the Normal Distribution of the actual vote  (an Eyes-Open Vote), while Red would be the vote's random distribution (an Eyes-Closed Vote). Two Standard Deviations are used for 95% Confidence Level. Judging by eyesight, the accuracy of an 88 “yes” to 12 “no” vote is roughly 60%.  88 “yes” to 12 “no” produces a vote mean u=0.76. Compare to U.S.A. Supreme Court decision at the top of the page with its u=0.77 vote. Accuracy nearly doubled from 30% to 60% because of voters’ size.
